Carrot Ginger Juice – Summary

Why Carrot Ginger Juice?

Carrot ginger juice combines the natural sweetness of carrots with a spicy ginger kick. This drink has become so popular that even V8 makes a version. However, making carrot juice at home ensures you enjoy the freshest drink possible, free from preservatives or additives.

What Is The Best Way to Juice?

There are two standard methods for juicing: using a juicer or a blender, each with advantages and drawbacks. Juicing with a juicer produces thicker juice but requires more carrots for a single glass. Conversely, blending with a high-performance blender requires fewer carrots but results in a more watery drink due to added water.

I prefer using a high-performance blender. It requires less prep work and less food waste, making it a more convenient option.

Tip: Soak the carrots in cold water before juicing them. This makes the juicing process easier.

Additional Combinations

One of my favorite things about juicing is the different flavor combinations. The sky is the limit on flavor combinations. I have tried some wild combinations that tasted great. Here are a few more ideas if you want to add additional flavors:

Freshly made carrot juice maintains its freshness for up to 24 hours when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Over time, carrot juice will separate and lose flavor. For this reason, I always recommend drinking it fresh.
