Carrot Ginger Juice (Blender and Juicing Instructions)
Make fresh
carrot ginger juice
at home using either a blender or a juicer! Both methods create fresh carrot ginger juice, which is better than anything you can purchase at the store!

High Performance Blender
Ingredients

pound
carrots
1
inch section
fresh ginger

squeeze
lemon (optional)

tablespoon
honey or blue agave (optional)
Instructions
Preparation
Soak the carrots in cold water for 10 minutes (optional). This softens them and makes juicing easier.
Cut the ends off the carrots and chop them into 2-inch pieces.
Using a Juicer
Feed the carrots through the juicer chute until processed.
Add the ginger (peeled or unpeeled) to the juicer.
Pour the juice into a glass.
Optionally, add a squeeze of lemon and/or honey to the juice.
Enjoy!
Using a High-Performance Blender
Place the carrots, ginger, and 1/2 cup of water in the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Strain the mixture through a fine strainer or cheesecloth, pressing to extract as much juice as possible.
Pour the juice into a glass.
Optionally, add a squeeze of lemon and/or honey to the juice.
Enjoy!
Notes
Soaking the carrots before juicing them makes it easier to blend.
Juice from a juicer will yield approximately 1 cup while using a blender will yield around 1.5 cups.
I recommend using a high-performance blender to achieve the best juice with limited food waste.
