Fast and Easy Dinner

Pasta puttanesca is an easy dinner pasta recipe that can be made in 20 minutes.  So full of flavor your whole family will love this dish!

 INGREDIENTS

Yellow Wavy Line

– Olive oil – Fresh garlic cloves – Crushed red pepper  – Crushed tomatoes – Kalamata olives – Capers

STEP ONE: Sauté

Over low heat warm up the olive oil until it shimmers. Add the garlic and crush red pepper flakes and cook for two minutes.

STEP TWO: Sauce

Add the crushed tomatoes, olives, capers, and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer over low heat while the noodles cook. Add salt and pepper to taste

STEP THREE: Pasta

Prepare the pasta noodle of your choice according to the directions.  I find spaghetti works best with pasta puttanesca!

STEP FOUR: Combine

Under cook the pasta by about 2 minutes.  Add pasta to the sauce and allow the pasta to absorb the sauce for two minutes

STEP FIVE: Garnish

Serve on a plate as is or and top with fresh Parmesan/vegan Parmesan and basil. I like to add extra olives for more flavor!
