You can
make vegan buttermilk
by mixing two ingredients. How simple is that? I have kept this post short and sweet so you can get on with your vegan baking!

plain non-dairy milk, room temperature
preferably almond or soy

tablespoon
fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Mix non-dairy milk and lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Let stand for ten minutes.
Notes
For best results, use soy or almond milk. Oatmilk will curdle a little, and coconut and rice milk will not curdle.
Always use room-temperature milk, cold milk will not curdle.
Always use plain, non-flavored milk.
