Homemade Strawberry Popsicles with Real Strawberries!
Strawberry popsicles are an all-natural sweet treat made with real strawberries. They require only five minutes of hands-on work and six hours of freezing time. After that, you have a perfect treat on a hot summer day!
Prep: Wash and hull the strawberries. If they are extra-large, cut them into smaller chunks.
Sweeten: In a medium bowl, toss the strawberries with sugar (or another preferred sweetener) and let stand for 20 minutes.
Blend: Place the sweetened strawberries, water, and lemon in a blender and blend until smooth.
Mold: Pour the mixture into a mold, top, and insert the popsicle stick. Freeze for 6 hours.
Unmold: To unmold the popsicles, gently try to remove them from the mold. If they are not budging, run warm to hot water over the mold for 30 seconds using caution not to get the popsicle wet. Gently release the popsicle from the mold.
Notes
Storing - Lay the real fruit popsicles on wax or parchment paper. Place a layer of paper between each layer of popsicles. Then, place the popsicles in an airtight container. They can be stored this way for 1 - 2 months.
