Bright, tangy, and refreshing, these homemade lime popsicles are made with just three simple ingredients. Ready in five minutes plus 6 hours of freezing time, they are the perfect all-natural treat for summer!
Juice the limes: Cut in half and squeeze out the juice. (Hint: Roll the limes on the counter first to make juicing easier!)
Mix: Whisk lime juice and sugar until thoroughly combined. Then stir in water.
Fill molds: Pour mixture into popsicle molds and insert sticks.
Freeze: Freeze for 6 hours or until solid.
Unmold: Run warm water over the mold for 20–30 seconds and gently remove popsicles. Be careful not to let water run over the popsicle itself, as it may melt.
Notes
Limes - Always use fresh limes. Bottled lime juice does not taste the same (or right).Storing - Line an airtight storage container with parchment or wax paper. Neatly line the container with a row of popsicles. Lay another piece of parchment or wax paper and repeat in layers until the container is full. Store in the freezer for up to three months.
