Ingredients

Ingredients used in making the recipe. Golden Oreos, freeze-dried strawberries and butter.

Instructions

Toss the dry ingredients, freeze-dried strawberries, and Golden Oreos into a food processor. Pulse several times, and then add the melted unsalted butter. Keep pulsing until the strawberry crunch cake crumbles reach the desired consistency: small or coarse crumbs.

Spread an even layer of crumbles onto a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 7 -10 minutes. Allow the crumbles to cool to room temperature before breaking them into smaller pieces. That’s all there is to it!

If you do not have a food processor at home, put the Oreo cookies and strawberries in a gallon-size freezer ziplock bag. Using a rolling pin, crush both ingredients into crumbs. Transfer vegan cookies and strawberry crumbs to a bowl and stir in melted butter. That’s it! The three-ingredient recipe is quick and simple yet doesn’t lack in deliciousness. You will find yourself eating it with a spoon.
