STARBUCKS BLUEBERRY SCONE COPYCAT RECIPE

Flour Butter Sugar Salt Egg. Heavy cream Vanilla extract Lemon zest

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

STEP ONE: PREP

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest in a large bow until they are evenly distributed.

STEP TWO:  MIX DRY INGREDIENTS

Incorporate the butter into the flour. You should have pea-sized bits of butter throughout the mixture

STEP THREE:  CUT IN BUTTER

Whisk together the lightly beaten egg, cold heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a separate small bowl.

STEP FOUR:  MIX WET INGREDIENTS

Combine wet ingredients and dry ingredients until they are just barely combined. Then add blueberries.

STEP FIVE:  COMBINE INGREDIENTS

Pat it into an 8-inch disk. Cut it into eight triangles and arrange 1-2 inches apart. Bake for 20 minutes.

STEP SIX:  SHAPE AND BAKE
