Vegan apple crisps are a family favorite dessert, at least in my home it is a fav!

Vegan crumbles/crisps is an easy dessert with  all the flavor of apple pie, without the work of dough!

Gluten-Free?

My apple crisp recipe can easily be made gluten free by changing the flour to a GF flour.  Easy peasy!

INGREDIENTS

All you need to make the filling is: – Apples  –  Brown sugar – Plant-based butter – All-purpose flour – Salt – Nutmeg (optional)

All you need to make the topping is: – All-purpose flour – Brown sugar – Ganulated white sugar – Ground cinnamon – Salt – Granulated white sugar

Combine brown sugar, plant-based butter, flour, and salt in a bowl.  Then toss in the sliced apples.

Filling

Topping

Whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Add butter.

Assemble

Spread the filling evenly in your baking dish and add the toping.

Bake & Enjoy

Bake for 45 minutes.  Serve warm with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream.
